Rose grew up in a family of nine children in a small town in Missouri. She was always a very active child, participating in gymnastics, theatre, and singing competitions. Born to a musical family, Channon discovered her love for music at an early age. She started playing the violin at the age of four and began singing when she was eight. After graduating from high school, Channon traveled to Europe to study music at the Royal Conservatory in The Hague, Netherlands. While there, she met songwriter/producer John Shanks and they began working on her first album.
Released in 2010, “Channon Rose” was well-received by fans and critics alike. The album included singles such as “Wonderful Life” and “I Believe in You.” In 2011, Channon embarked on her first headlining tour throughout North America. Later that year, she performed at the Montreux Jazz Festival as part of R&B group Silk City’s summer tour.
